Michael was born and raised in New York City. Prior to entering the Real Estate industry, he trained professionally as a chef and restaurant manager and was a successful restaurant owner. He has studied in Italy for many years; and he and his wife of 30 years, travel there often. Although he knows the 5 boroughs like the back of his hand, Michael claims a particular affinity for downtown Manhattan, having lived and worked in the Financial District and Greenwich Village for most of his life.
